The Real Estate Market is definitely picking up! Calgary is the place to be. It is vibrant and on the move. This morning our family had the opportunity to watch the Olympic Flame being run through our school community. It was a lot more emotional than we thought it would be! Our kids ran right alongside the torch for about a block completely caught up in the moment and we are sure that it is a memory that they will cherish forever!
It is moments like this in our city that make one proud to be a Calgarian and relive the memories of 1988! There is much to look forward to in this new decade. People that we are working with are upbeat and positive in all sectors of business. After being in this business in Calgary since 1989, we can honestly say that we have seen ( and lived ) the economic cycles. There is a time to sell, a time to buy and a time to just sit back and wait. We will be doing our best to keep you up to date with what is happening in the real estate market in this great city of ours.
When we first started in the business Debbie's dad who had been in the real estate business for many years said "You won't believe the doors real estate will open for you!" How true that has been! More than anything, it has allowed us to meet such interesting and wonderful friends and collegues.
